To all our Goblin customers.
The new pulley H0101-S is Z37 which is 37T.
SAB decided to increase the tail ratio a bit to improve tail performance and authority.
New tail gear ratio is 4.67:1
Old gear ratio is 4.53:1
Old pulley H0016-S is 36T and new pulley comes with screw
All new kits come with H0101-S pulley.
New pulleys will be shipped Tuesday 11th March 2012.

Following from the below SAB Goblin 700 Service Advisory #2 SAB has engineered a New pulley design H0016 with screws. Once received we will ship to all dealers and the stock Pulley can be replaced with the new version H0101-S. Please note that the old part number is discontinued and the new part number must be used in future H0101-S. Recommend to apply blue loctite 243 to all pulley screws.

SAB Goblin 700 Service Advisory #2 (20th March 2012)

Despite extensive testing, it has come to our attention that one or two main drive pulleys (H0016) have had the pulley flange loosen from the pulley during flight. We are working to rectify this problem, and have designed a new system to secure the flange to this pulley. Replacement pulleys will be shipping soon – if you have purchased a Goblin, please contact your dealer to arrange a replacement.

Can I keep flying my Goblin? This is up to you – you can either wait 10 days or so and fit your new pulley, or check the current pulley flange for any movement prior to each flight. Any movement of this flange means you are grounded until your replacement arrives.
